G’day everyone,
The weekend passed by so quickly I feel like I got hardly anything done. It has been one of those months where the days have been running away from me. Unfortunately I didn’t get a good opportunity to get out into the garden this weekend, so there won’t be a ‘boot’s off’ post. I have managed to snap a photo of one of my all time favourite roses!! This beautiful flower is from the rose called Rosa hort. hybrids, ‘Blue for You’. This photo hasn’t been corrected or had the colour changed. It is a raw image and the only editing that has taken place is the adding of my watermark. As the buds open they reveal lilac-mauve flowers, which then gradually fade to a slate blue colour before dropping. The flowers are also strongly perfumed, making them a great cut flower for inside the house.
