This is my second contribution to the Weekly Photo Challenge Anticipation by the daily post. Amorphophallus titanum (Titan Arum) is the worlds largest flower and is famous for the horrid smell it produces when it first blooms. I have previously seen the Titan Arum in flower at the Melbourne Botanical gardens and it is still the most memorable plant I have ever seen. At my work Collectors Corner have a Titan Arum of their own and we all have been waiting with anticipation for the flower to emerge. We think it might open on Christmas day…. If so I might have to head into work just to see this amazing flower.
Until next time happy gardening!
