On my most recent hike I stumbled across this old rusted dog trap. Wild dogs are a big issue for farmers in rural Australia, so it isn’t uncommon to see these traps on private properties. But I didn’t expect to see this old trap sitting off the side of a hiking trail. The thick layers of rust make this once intimidating trap look intriguing.
