Where have I been? I jumped on a plane and headed off to Japan for a 14 day holiday. The first day was spent in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo city. I travelled with 6 others and we all decided to spend the first morning making traditional wooden block prints at Mokuhankan Prints. After making some colourful prints we then met up with some of our Japanese friends who showed us around the city.
We visited Sensoji Temple which is famous for the large red lantern which is situated at the front gates of the temple grounds. As we made our way to the temple there are strips of stores where you can buy little knick-knacks. After viewing the temple we made our way to a museum but stopped at a little garden along the way. We then enjoyed Chanko Nabe for dinner, which was delicious!
Until next time happy gardening! By Bonnie-Marie Hibbs ©BMHPhotographyTheGardener’sNotebook2018
