Upon moving into my new property I have been re-inspired to start growing my own plants from seed. For two reasons 1) it is very cost effective 2) there is a great selection of beautiful and unusual plants that you can grow from seed.

I stumbled across this great Instagram page called jardindefleur.seeds and I was instantly romanced by the collection of flowers she sells. I picked up a few seed packets. Check out the flowers below of what I purchased.

First up, lets talk packaging. It is a 10/10. I love the rustic style of the envelopes and the printing on the front. The seeds were well sealed so there was no chance of loosing any on the way to me in the mail.
Germination: I sowed the seeds into peat pots and into an open seedling tray with seed raising mix. All have sprouted and are starting to take off! Most have taken between 7-14 days to sprout, which is the usual expectation with most of the seeds I purchased.
Over the next two weeks I will grow all the plants on to further develop their roots and to get them ready for planting out in the garden.
Online: Purchasing the seeds online was extremely easy. The website is very user friendly.
Check Out: This was also an easy process no hiccups.
Delivery: Was quick, I placed the order over the weekend and received my seeds in the mail about 7 days later.
Overall I will be purchasing from Jardin de Fleur Seeds again, but for now… I can not wait to see all these plants blooming within the next few months.

Until next time happy gardening!

How gorgeous I’m definitely going to look into this one. It just makes you want to plant paddocks & paddocks to frolic in. Thanks for sharing.
I felt exactly the same, I want to plant paddocks of flowers. Your welcome 😀
Thanks for the lead, just spent $70 on seeds.

I hope you enjoy growing them as much as I have 😀
You got some nice subdued hues. I still have not grown the ‘Italian White’ sunflower yet, even though it has been available for a long time.
